Welcome to our Church
We offer a very warm welcome to everyone who wants to join us at our services or at other events. We hold services every Sunday at 10 a.m. They last for about 45 minutes and are followed by coffee and tea. Children of all ages are welcome and we normally run a Sunday School (which we call Adventurers) during the service, in our Annex.
Services
Everyone, of all ages, is welcome at our weekly Sundays services in Newlands Church. For those unable to attend personally, Zoom services are held at Carlops at 10am and St Andrews West Linton at 11.30am.
Our Parish
We are part of the linkage of West Tweeddale which consists of the six parishes of Carlops, Kirkurd & Newlands, West Linton St Andrew's, Broughton Glenholm and Kilbucho, Skirling, and Tweedsmuir.
Open-Air Communion Service - Sunday 29th June
There will be an open-air Communion service followed by a picnic for the whole West Tweeddale linkage at the site of the old Newlands church on Sunday 29th June at 3pm. Parking will be in the car park opposite the current Newlands Church.
Everyone should bring their own picnic and folding chairs or a rug to sit on. There will be transport from the church car park across the field to the graveyard for those who need it.
In the event of the weather not co-operating we will take refuge for the service and the picnic in the current church. Everyone is welcome.
